Event Information

“Essential Visions”     May 1st - 3rd
A new type of multiple-day event series where you will explore ideas with assistance of Paul Laseau the co-author of “Visual Notes” who will engage students and faculty in a series of workshops that will present a set of tools and techniques with which to view their ongoing studies. You will be given an opportunity to create work or works related to current interests or coursework in a  workshop of your choice. What you produce will be shown in a supplemental exhibit adjacent to the work of the invited guest and on view for the exhibition closing. In order to participate students will be asked to sign up to receive a book and have time to peruse  it before their workshop with Professor Laseau comes to campus.
Participating students should sign up to attend the lecture and a workshop in addition there will be an exhibit opening and closing during the events. The Lecture and Exhibit Opening will be on May 1st, The workshops are Wednesday May 2, 9am-12pm or 3-6pm and Thursday May 3rd  3-6pm. Students can attend one of the three workshops.
